		<description>I do think my reading was colored by having read other (more recent) series with this trope; &lt;cite&gt;Hana-Kimi&lt;/cite&gt; probably works better if you don&#039;t have that context. I definitely get the impression that others  seem to like it more than I do. It has, after all, been adapted into not one but two Asian dramas (Japanese and Taiwanese), with one more (Korean) on the way soon!</description>

I&#039;ve been wondering about &lt;i&gt;Hana-Kimi&lt;/i&gt; since reading others&#039; comments in passing; the local library (well, the small system that owns a copy) has claimed to have vol. 1 &quot;in transit&quot; for three months, which might mean it&#039;s lost.

I&#039;m still curious for myself, but now I feel less inclined to purchase a copy as the next step in quelling my curiosity.</description>
