Speaking of which, you’re right about Marley’s dim view of humanity. I hated the lady in volume 6 for being so cruel to her mother, for example.

Dokebi Bride may have some of the problems of a first series, but as first series go, it’s not bad at all. And it was so nice to get a female protagonist who was not at all interested in being sweet.
